Open my lips, O Lord,
And my mouth shall proclaim your praise.
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from your presence
And take not your Holy Spirit from me.
Give me the joy of your saving help again
And sustain me with your bountiful Spirit.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.

What would help you be more aware of God’s presence today?
Prayers for Others Today: Take some time to pray out loud on behalf of others. If in a group, you may be led to share your prayer requests in order to pray for one another.
Our Father,
Who is in heaven
Hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen.
Almighty and everlasting God, increase in us the gifts of faith, hope, and charity; and, that we may obtain what you promise, make us love what you command; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
O gracious Light,
Pure brightness of the ever living Father in heaven,
O Jesus Christ, holy and blessed!
Now as we come to the setting of the sun,
And our eyes behold the evening light,
We sing your praises O God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You are worthy at all times to be praised by all voices,
O Son of God, O Giver of life,
And to be glorified through all the worlds.

Almighty God, we give you thanks for surrounding us as daylight fades with the brightness of the evening light; and we ask of your great mercy that as you enfold us with the radiance of your light, you would also shine into our hearts the brightness of your Holy Spirit; that by knowing you are near we would rest in preparation for tomorrow to do your will. This we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
