LAY COUNSELING TRAINING - STEPHEN MINISTRY

Cost: $55 for resource materials (scholarships are available)

Introductory Retreat: Saturday, September 9

Training Begins: Saturday, October 14

What exactly is a Stephen Minister? One way to put it is that Stephen Ministers are the "After People." After the phone call you hoped you would never get. After the doctor says, "I'm sorry there is nothing more we can do." After the funeral and everyone has left and the emotions you've held at bay come crashing in on you.

Stephen Ministers are ready to come alongside you, your friends, neighbors, coworkers or relatives and provide comfort and support for as long after as needed. This is a great opportunity to be trained and equipped to help others. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to be a part of this ministry.
