A Prayer for the Growth of St Barnabas

Almighty and everlasting God, by your Holy Spirit, sanctify St. Barnabas with the power of your presence. Strengthen and confirm the faithful with boldness to live and proclaim the Gospel in our deeds and in our words. Remove all hindrances to the advancement of your truth. We bind and banish the enemy from St. Barnabas, from our homes, and from our lives. We cast all evil to the throne of Jesus Christ of Nazareth through the authority of His powerful Name. By your grace and your favor, and through our humble obedience to you, we pray that you grow St. Barnabas. Bring more people to faith in Jesus; and help us to expand your kingdom by the proclamation of the Gospel, and through caring for the sick, poor, orphaned, widowed, and marginalized. Bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church. All this we ask through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen.
